Migrating 32 Bit Files to Current Releases

Modified on Sun, 23 Jun, 2019 at 9:42 AM

If you are migrating from FeatureCAM 2017 or older and your files are 32 bit files, you will need to get an add-in loaded in FeatureCAM 2018 or older.  For example, if you have FeatureCAM 2013 files and you want to move them to FeatureCAM 2020, you would need to do the following:

  • Find FeatureCAM 2018 in your Autodesk Account, download and install
  • Check add-ins and make sure you have the file migration add-in is ready for use
  • The addin, when run, opens and re-saves every file in a given folder
  • Once files become 64 bit, they can be opened and used in FeatureCAM 2020
