Issue:
How to reset the ezfm_ui.ini file for FeatureCAM to get back the default settings. This is done to set FeatureCAM back to default settings as it was when the first installation of the software ocurred. The ezfm_ui.ini is the one to change if you are looking at only changing the interface settings back to default. Occasionally this file can be corrupted and FeatureCAM will exhibit weird behaviors. Resetting the ezfm_ui.ini may correct issues.Solution:
To reset the EZFM_ui.ini:1.Close FeatureCAM
2.Open windows Task Manager and verify that no FeatureCAM/ezfm.exe processes are running.
- This can be done in either the processes tab or the details tab.
- Make sure that all file name extensions are showing. This is a Windows Explorer option (google how to show these for your operating system"
4. Rename the files ezfm_ui.ini to ezfm_ui.ini.old
By renaming the files FeatureCAM will create new default files with the correct names the old files are not deleted if needed in the future.
